Has anyone ran a wet nitrous kit on their Mark VIII? I don't trust the dry kits for various reasons...
 
Even though I thoroughly recommend wet nitrous systems I am curious what your reasoning is for not trusting dry nitrous systems?
 
I don't trust the mass air sensor to accurately measure the incoming air flow. I've datalogged it many times and it varies greatly depending on what kinda voltage the sensor is getting.
 
I have ran both and had no problems with the dry kit. You that to watch for intake puddling with the wet kit though. thats about the only thing. and make sure its tuned right . take it to someone with a dyno don't just buy a chip for it through the mail.

With Fords I never recommend spraying pre-MAF like what you described. Some guys were doing that allot a few years back and it just isn't safe. The proper way to tune for a dry nitrous system is to spray post-MAF and dial the AFR's in with the MAF transfer function in the tune. The MAFS will only be metering the normal aircharge. Being that the nitrous that is being injected is "metered" via the jet and the pressure of the bottle the amount is a near constant. That is the best way to tune for a dry nitrous setup and will be the safest way to tune it.

The only way fuel will puddle in the intake manifold with a wet system is if you are spraying it at too low an RPM or if it is jetted REALLY rich. Whether I am running a WOT switch & RPM window switch or a full progressive controller I never spray below 3,000 rpms with a wet system. Do that and you will almost never run into puddling issues or backfire.
