Other drivers are the biggest source of aggravation on the roads today, according to a poll conducted by Drive for Life, a group joined in by AAA, Volvo Cars of North America, Partners for Highway Safety, the National Association of Police Organizations and the National Sheriffs' Association in the name of driver safety. In the poll the group found some 40 percent of drivers describe driving as "aggravating" and "more aggravating than two years ago." And while both sexes said it's other drivers causing the problems, the particular non-driving habits that turned them off varied: men hated drivers who talked on cell phones, while women disliked tailgaters and aggressive drivers. One in four men, and one in five women admitted in the poll to driving angry — quick, someone call Oprah! — and 18 percent of those polled said that aggressive drivers were the biggest threat on the road. You can find out more results at the group's Web site, www.driveforlife.com.
