Hello everyone. I am new to this site and a fairly new owner of a mark viii. When i seen the car about 5 months ago i just had to buy it! I was and still am partial to GM as i have a had a 87 tans am gta 5.7tpi, a 97 trans am lt1, and a 2002 z28 ls1 all of them being modded on the bottle with no problems at all. Traded my Z for a F150 4x4 and then i was missing a rear wheel drive V8 so i was keeping my eyes peeled for a good 5.0 car to play ith just because they are cheap and parts are a dime a dozen. But then i came across this mark viii, took a test drive and new it had some potential with not only going down the strip well, but looking awesome doing it. I gotta say, some of you guys have some really awesome marks!!! Anyways my car is just sensor lowered with 20's, heavy 20's i might add. I went to go align the car yesterday becasue it tends to "hunt" imperfections in the road, well when it was put up on the rack the front was out as well as the rear, the tech said there was no adjustment for the camber in the rear, just toe adjustment. Is this true? I already did a search in the forum and found nothing so i thought i'd ask you guys.
Thanks a bunch and here is a picture of my $2500 find with 98k

Even some Ford techs dont' know the back camber is adjustable, so find a place that will believe you ;)

Rear Camber is adjusted by the upper control arm inner bushing.

Oh yah, thanks DLF, I guess I should have told him how ;)

btw, I do like the way Marks look in grey/silver... looking good lil281 :)

Everything is adjustable on our cars. If the tech was using any kind of Hunter machine the alignment machine would have told him how. Word of the wise, MECHANICS HATE ALIGNMENTS. Usually we don't make what they're worth for the work. If you want it done right tell him if everything is perfect there's a tip in it for him. Sounds like you found a lazy unmotivated, don't care cause it ain't his tech. I work with a douche like this all day everyday. He won't touch tickets like these and when he does it pisses him off, and he has wound up driving through [backing through] 2 garage doors because of his bad attitude. It took my alignment buddy 2 hours to do my car. Yep that's right I didn't even want to do it. I would rather pay the 60 bucks and it be on someone else. Take it back and tell his boss you want a good tech and you dont want this d-bag working on your car. And those wheels suck sendem to me.:D

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Well, when the car was on the rack he was telling me about his not being able to find the camber adjustment. He showed me the screen on the computer showing him exactly where it was at but he said the bolt wasnt an adjustable type because it didnt have the washer with the degree markings. So i looked at it and it seemed that it was an eccentric bolt by the looks of it so it had to have a lobe on it. He didnt touch it, said he wouldnt charge me for the "ill" aligment" so i left. So you guys are saying it is the bolt that holds the upper arm to the frame above the toe adjustment bolt. Thanks guys, i apprecciate it!!!!

The adjustment changes both the toe and camber at the same time.

It's a bit of a pain but it can be done.

nice car.... get those headlights polished! if you dont know how im sure somebody will chime in.....worked wonders for mine. I cant recall what grit sandpaper that was used.

There is two different adjustments, one for camber, one for toe. The toe one is the lower one with flat degree washer thing.
