I just bought some aftermarket wheels (20x8.5 35+)to replace and repair my damn steering wheel vibration since my wheels were "out of round", but the new wheels did not clear the caliper, I know I need some hub centric spacers and need help on finding some. I tried searching, and remember one lvc member that had the same problem with the caliper grinding, but cannot find his post anymore, any help would greatly be appreciated.

if it's real close you could always grind down the pads a bit till you get your spacers.

that was me. when i would drive it would be a loud grinding, dont drive it like this. i went to my local wheel store and they had em in stock they were 15 bucks a piece.

Hmm..... interesting...... what size wheel and offset were your running? and how thick were your spacers?, im afraid of having my wheels stick out and look like SH:slamT

20x8.5 dont know the offset. all u need is about a 1/4 inch clearance. you wont notice a diff at all. i have em on the front and not the back and u cant tell one bit.

I have a little vibrating in mine. Do yall think it's because of alignment or do the hub centric rings really help???

Here's the thread on it. http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=17845&page=2

If you are wanting hub centric wheel spacers I recommend WheelAdapter.com. You can view their site here:

I had a set made for my LS when I installed the StopTech brakes. Fred does a great job and he is very reasonable too.
