heres the video its been resized from 38mb to 1.8mb so sorry for the quality. and sound quality also sucks but you get the picture. and no it doesnt make that exhaust leak sound at idle, i dont know why the camera picked up that noise

and now the crazy "future plans" part.

ive been driving for 4 days with just the drivers seat in the car. spare removed, jack removed. Car handles really well, shes actually pretty fun. Ive been debating selling the car in october and buying either a LS1 camaro or Lt1 corvette, buuut then i got to thinking, thats just like everyone else.

Long story short in october through...when ever its done (next spring at most) im going to gut everything but the dash, center console and radio/speakers. Sell the seats, Buy 2 black racing style seats that still maintain a decent look. Retint the windows darker. install Euro shocks to go with my sprint springs. Then do the rear mount turbo with supporting fuel injectors and pump, SST shifter and 8.8 LSD.

in the end i hope to weigh around 3300lbs and have around 350RWHP, which makes for mid 12 second ride.

yessir, thats the plan!

just got back from the track haha

15.372 @ 93.28mph

ill take it!

race weight with me is 3680

Stock?

Post the whole slip if you could. I can likely help you get it down.

Yes you only have to do the complete 8.8 swap if you want to gear up. But you gain some strength too.

I been thinking of 4.30s lately:D

all thats done to her is the moroso spiral flow mufflers, and a homemade POS pvc air intake with stock filter housing LOL. then i had just the drivers seat in it

heres the slip...

60' 2.447 (fastest 60' of the night was a 2.408)
330' 6.691
1/8th 10.084 @ 73.39mph
1000 12.942
1/4 15.372 @93.28mph

previous full interior best was greater then a 15.55, 95% of the runs were 15.6 and 15.7 tho.

i dont think im going to do a full 8.8 diff swap. just the 8.8 LSD into the 8.0 housing with my stock 3.5-whatever's

I was really excieted that the car was down to 3680 with me in it.

I like that sound. That is a different sound from the LS so far for sure. Its not to loud but not just a completely deep tone like most and not over whelming like the straight pipe/muffler-less jobs.

It has a good sound at idle! Im surprised by that. Most LSes are pretty quiet at idle except the annoying no muffler ones.

Good job!

I bet you could get that 60 under (or at least close to) 2 seconds with some practice. What was your R/T?

Not to likely without more power, gears or loss of weigh.

My best 60's were 2.12x on stock 3.31 gears. I had a pretty good system to get there. I run stock weight except spare, jack, lug wrench and trunck floor.

With the 4.10s and limited good passes at the track I have several 2.09xs and 2.10xs, might get here down a little more but not expecting much.

You should be able to 2.2 all day with little practice. 2.1s once you get the hang of how the LS likes to leave the line.

Judging by the slip 2.2s should get you right around breaking into the 14s and even maybe a little better if you can stick some low 2.1s.

Your trap is ok and with the weight loss I would have thought abit stronger.

I'mnot sure what my race weight is.

could be track prep, elevation, or my yokohama AVID TRZ all seasons that are responsible for the 2.4's

The moroso spiral flows have been my favorite muffler for a long time. i had them on my camaro pace setter long tube headers with 3" collectors, off road y pipe, and SLP loudmouth exhaust with a moroso spiral flow put in place of the SLP resonator...

Those Revs were only to 4000 at most. That exhaust was great. no pops, no raspyness. smoothest loudest deepest exhaust ive hear. so i stick with the moroso's and at 50-60$ a pop why not?!?

Can you give a bit more info on how you have them set up on the LS as far as other components and all go?

there 2.5"

cut the stock mufflers off, got Car-X to put the new ones on in place of the old. with some turn downs. they had to make a adaptor to go from 2.0" to 2.5". if i were to do it again id try to place the muffler closer to the engine or try to get more pipe at the exit to get everything flowing the right way. since there small it might be possible to mount them under the car by the resonator and then get straight pipes where the stock mufflers used to be. or even get them to bend some 2.5" piping from there on back and open it up a little more.

51.99$ on jegs for 2.5" I/O high grade steel

99.99$ for 2.5" Stainless steal

that sould help 60ft times!
