Hi,

I just sold my Collectors Edition Mark VIII and bought an 02 LSE blk on blk


I think i might need to put new struts and shocks on.... What do you recommend? I'm looking for something better than OEM but nothing as expensive like koni's....


(I hear clunk sounds when i go over rough pavement)

Welcome to the form.

The Lincoln LS takes coil over shocks and there isn't much choice, the OEM comes in three different firm shocks, assuming you have the V8. About the only aftermarket I believe are Monroe and it is reported they are like no shocks at all. The OEM are decent shocks.

Believe it or not i bought a stick v6 LSE I assume theirs not much of those out there.... I'll look into that

yeah i have the same issue myself lil cracks in the road hear clunks also let me know what you find as i also have a 03 v6

Only 2,331 V6 manual were produced from 2000 to 2002 and none after year 2002.
