New ride!

Well since my Mark is having starting issues which appear to be starter related, I decided to pick up a second car as a daily driver. This will allow me to work on either car yet still have one to get around.

Its a 1988 Volkswagen Fox. 4 speed manual. 80HP.

I actually used to own this car while my Mark was under the knife. I sold it and regretted it. Well it came full circle and I have it again.

I will get some pics when I have time. It has very minor rust but not along the doors or rockers. I sprayed oil on the rust to slow it until it gets patched and painted. The interior needs a cleaning, but is in great shape.

1st gear is a dog, but once in second this thing really moves.

Cool, I just bought a 91 eagle talon for $300. I got to keep the mark in the garage for the winter up here in CT. I love it, I beat the crap out of it and dont care!!

lot better than my Jetta, trans is about gone, surprised the seat hasen't fallen through the floor LOL

I forgot to mention that when I owned it, it had just had the engine and trans rebuilt. I am pretty sure it was painted also. The last owner put all new brakes on, exhaust and tires.

But the tires do not look new to me, maybe "new" used tires. All four dont even match.
