So my CEL came out, I got it checked and the computer read a misfire on my #5 coil. My first question, which is my number 5 coil.

Secondly, my air stopped blowing cold air. Does one have anything to do with the other (I doubt it)

When I took off my engine cover I saw that they tapped into my coil for a power supply (alarm).. is that what may have caused a problem?

2002 Lincoln ls V6

If there is anyway/idea that you have that may assist me in figuring out this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance

On a V6 I believe it should be the second one from the front on the driver side.
Fords are usually 1 2 3 pass side fr to back, 4 5 6 dr side front to back for the V6.

1 2 3 4 pass side fr to back, 5 6 7 8 dr side fr to back on a V8.

No i did not.. i believe they tapped in there for the kill switch or something..

to add to the problem.. i was installing new components in the front and i noticed that the door speaker didnt always work.. well now my door doesnt work.. no driver window, driver lock, driver speaker, driver nothing.. there goes the computer? ugh.. let me know how bad this is fellas

1. A kill switch (Starter Kill) should ALL be under the dash. I have never is 17 years of alarm installation gone into the engine compartment to do a kill switch.

2. Make sure the main harness is plugged into the door just behind the pannel.
