i just got this frame on ebay for 11 bucks!! damn good price! it looks like its good quality too! also bought a plate today..
50 bucks for the plate... gonna put the plate up front on the oem plate holder and the frame in the back in my surround... but hey... its gonna look nice as heck! it took me a week to find two that i really liked and that were 'classy' looking enough for my car... and me. im happy about these. bought them today and they both shipped today! great deal for 60 bucks. let me know if you want some linx.

yea hes got three listed. and husker.. im planning on putting an LSE grill on.. i think theyll accent each other. just personal preference.

Perfect target for radar/laser haha. Even has a nice little crosshair in the center to aim at. I'm sure they'll look good though. The font is pretty sharp.

wait.. you bought the two exact same frame and plate that i did? a 50 dollar plate better not rust.. all the user reviews were very good on the 50 dollar plate. the frame.. i dont know..

+1 bought those for both of my cars from the same seller and the finish faded on them in 6 months. Those are very cheaply plated.

I only bought the frames, the frames finish started to completely fade and peel off. Dont know about the actual plates.

Hmmm, well my mom has a Dodge Plate, and that thing is pretty heavy and rust free right now, she's had it for a few months.

I can't speak to the quality of the plate you bought, but it does look nice.

The plate frame is another story. I got one on eBay a few years ago on a whim. Total waste of money. It was a metal frame like yours, but only with the Lincoln Star (No LS name). Turns out the Star was just a decal that peeled off. The plate rusted in about a month. $12 plus shipping down the tubes. But, you live and learn.

So I got a real good plate frame from this place:

They also make some with various Lincoln names:

I got a plain chrome frame, and they're not cheap at $25 each. But, they look good and last a long time. The one I got was for my 2003 LS, which I bought in 2003. When I got the 2006 car, I transferred it over. Even today, a little metal polish and its like new. I liked mine so much I got another one for the wife's new Lexus!

what do you all think about dipping the plate frame in some weather resistant polyeurathane?

"RUST PROOF WARRANTY: All of our Mirror 3D Stainless Steel License plates and Bright Chrome Plated Stainless Steel license plate frames will never rust."
http://www.licenseplates.tv/warranty.php as long as the 50$ plate doesnt rust.. im fine.. any takers on coating the frame in some kinda sealant like polyeurathane?

Not to knock your style, but I don't see the point of drilling holes in the LSE fascia just to put that plate on it. Whenever I get around to getting the LSE fascia, I will just stick my front plate in the windshield, nothing is ruining the bumper.

lol.. you think id drill holes in my car?? the plate holder came with the car or the original dealer put it on. 1 owner b4 me and i knew him.. its an o4 and he only put 18k on it.. i bought the car 4 months ago.. he didnt drill the holes.

There is a big difference there.............

There is a big difference there. You are talking about Chrysler quality and Lincoln junk. There just is no comparison. Instead of an Apples to Apples comparison, you have an Apples to Prune comparison.:D :D :D
