as usual looks very nice... you always have good backgrounds

verry classy as usual man .. yea.. how is the type r peformance.. thats what i was gonna get before i got a deal on the audiobahn's .. and do you have a cap or anything to help with the power consumption of those amp's

Thanks people.

The type R is really bumpin hard, especially in a ported box, but I do need to get a more powerful amp. My kenwood has only 300 watt rms power where the Alpine R can handle up to 500 rms.

No I do not have a cap and I don't need one, even at high volume the lights don't dim at all. Maybe I'll need one if I change my Kenwood to something more powerful.

This alpine sub is a really good deal, it bumps hard, good brand and it's cheap. I got it on ebay, new, paid only $120 and the shipping was included. Here is the link if anybody is interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18803&item=140018951226

The interior bulbs are also off of Ebay. I got them from here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250014252561&category=33713. I highly recommend em, they look great and are very bright. They have other ones too that go in the doors and under the dashboard. Those can also be used for the license plate lights. Beautiful man, I do not think I have ever seen a piece of dirt on your car.
That dome light is looking bright as hell, I cannot wait to get mine. Once again very sharp pictures.

It depends what are you planning to do with them. Both of these double coil subs (2 ohm and 4 ohm) give you the ability of using a 2 ohm or 4 ohm amps. I think the 2 ohm versions are also able to work in 1 ohm form (correct me if I am wrong). But if you are using 2 or more subs, you can change the wiring and get lower impendence from your subs. Your amp has to be comparible with powering the subs at low impendence.

For instance the same amp that is producing 2 ohm output, is making more power, but it might overheat earlier in that mode than if it's in 4 ohm mode.

Anyway, it depends how many subs you are going to use and what kind of amp(s) are you going to use.

isn't the 4 Ohm better than the 2 ohm?

Going with either 1 Type r 12'' or 1 Type X 12'' in a vented box.

With Alpine 1000 watt Mono amp

if you gonna use a 1000 watt rms amp then get a Type X sub, the Type R will blow up.
