I went to the track today and ran a 14.50 at 98mph with a 2.20 60'. I started out running 14.6's but as the weather got cooler... the car ran much better. It was funny too that while I was in the staging lanes... a guy asked me if it broke 16's. :D

congrats man! Now break into the 13's, so you can tell all those assclowns that the mark viii is not a grandpa's car!

congrats.

i gotta get mine back to the track....when it opens in 3 months.

Were you at Milan?
I was there for a bit today, saw a car looked identical yours. Mines a red one with split 5-spoke wheels.

I was having a tough time, ran 15.3 and 15.4, first gave too little throttle, then too much. I just cant seem to get the launch right, but its only my second time at the track.

Good job!

Us southern Michigan members should get together at Milan sometime.

I've only had my car there once before, a few years ago, but it was fun.

I ran a 15.2 in the quarter mile.:(

Good to here about your new time and by now i would think people would be wise to the mark viii, guess not

Nice Run... Those 93 sure like to run fast!

Would be fun to have an LvC Track Night some day...

Guess it would have to be regional seeing the distances between members.

Maybe it would be fun to have members at different Tracks on the same day. LvC invades Raceways.. LOL...

Don't want to sell it anymore LOL
Heh. When I took it to the track. I went with my grandpa and he has a 12 second corvette. We were sitting in tech and him and my dad didnt even know my car was running. I just had a great time with the car. Its very unsuspecting to everybody at the track. Some girl was eyin up my car in a turbo awd eclipse in the staging lanes and brushed it off like it wasnt a thing. Needless to say, she was quite suprised. I still need to finish some body work and get ahold of quite a few suspension parts. This shall be a fun life-long project. Im hoping to one day have this thing turbo'd on the stock block, heads, and existing exhaust setup. Can you say Sleeper. hehe
