Hi all, I am a new member and new to forums in general, I have been reading a lot of old threads on here and i have to say its really addicting as i am picking up my 05 LS v8 in about 2 weeks. Some very awsome things i have seen and are now addded to my wishlist. I will post more pics when i pick it up but i only have this one now. This will be my first LS and I cant wait, I have loved the LS since I test drove a brand new one in 01. What I really want to know is, is what can you guys tell me about key things i should look for or check out before i hand over the cash. It has 90,000 on it and everything in the rear end is brand new with new tires as well. Looks really nice, drives great. Any replies are appreciated. Thanks and I look forward to being a part of the LS group.

I've heard guys say that all the time about checking the suspension so yeah do that first.

90K miles? Go ahead and start planning your cooling system overhaul. The plastic used in the system by Lincoln seems to only be good for about 100K miles or so and should be looked at more as the 100K mile service than anything else.

Front hubs seem to be a 100K mile thing too, but also seems to be no more difficult than a brake job.

I've done my cooling system, and it looks like I have a pair of hubs to do in the near future.
