Hello everybody... I guess its time to start on this side of the forum. I was a Mark VIII owner for years and just got an 2006 LS. So far I love it! I wonder why it took so long to come to the dark side. lol I will post pics soon. I do have one question about my LS. It appears that the middle seat belt is not attached to the bottom of the seat. It looks like it can disconnect? If anyone has any ideas about this it would be a big help. Thanks

I assume that you mean the middle shoulder belt on the back seat. I don't think that it detaches without removing a bolt, but I'll look closer at mine in a little while.

Thats what I was thinking but I have not really looked into it very closely yet... Just saw the belt hanging there.

Fold the seat and look in the trunk. That's where I "hid" mine.

There is a small hole where the shoulder strap attaches to the buckle. I used an icepick (maybe it was a dental pick....) to release the shoulder strap. I then "hid" said strap behind the right seat back. I didn't like that strap messing up the look of the rear seat. I guess I'm a little OCD...

Yep, I just looked and saw the disconnect. The belt should just snap back in.
