Ok I have a 2000 Continental and the heater core sprung a leak, I replaced the core and reinstalled the dash (pain in the neck job btw) Took the car for a 5 mile drive, Everything was great til I opened her up (WOT) when I did the accellerater stuck wide open but the pedal wasnt on the floor. I shut it off and restarted the car and the throttle was normal, I drove home slow and more nervus than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs....Once home I put the car in park and floored it again and again it stuck WOT without the pedal being stuck. I took the air intake duct off the TB and the Idle was normal again. So I started checking everything when I hold the intake air temp sensor over the TB the cars idle starts to increase.....Doesnt make sense to me seems more like a TPS problem Im not sure......Went out tonight to check it again and now the air bag light is on in the gauge cluster...Any Ideas, The car ran great before I changed the core....
