I am Located about 30 min north of Atlanta. Married with 2 kids and one on the way.
Bronco_LS well that breaks down to two things
First the Bronco, nope not the football team the truck. I currently have 4 Ford Bronco's:
1973 Spare Parts rig
1974 The wifes undergoing restoration including a 400ish Hp 302, 4.11 gears, rear locker front limited slip.
1967 Rock crawler 8" lift 38" tires, fullsize trucks axles 5.13 gears full spool real detroit front lockers, 351W, C6, NP205 transfer case, Home built roll cage, and fuel cell race seats ....
1996 Fullsize 5.0L, Auto, 4.56 gears detroit ....

Second part the LS the reason for my being on the list.
I just recently bought a 2001 LS 3.9LV8 (duh) Auto with about 50K miles. It is Black with black Leather int, wood grain all over, traction control, and power every thing.

Anyway I have lots or question about the LS which probably have been answered a million times.

Thanks for your time.

welcome!

this is a cool place to learn a ton about the ls. a few people here are directly conected to Lincoln, although they will not admit it.

oh yeah, the search function will only search for one word. for example, if you want to know about 6x9 speakers, you best bet is to just search for "speaker" or "6x9". not "6x9 speaker"

Welcome to LVC. I am in Marietta, just south of you. I have a lifted Wrangler with gears, etc... Sound like you are more serious about bogging or crawling. Where do you go here in Hotlanta to go offroading? Do you have to trailer the crawler?

Hey Bronco, welcome to the club.
Here are few things/tips/ideas to get you started.

1. Get to know the LS gang. We're all cool and know alittle bit about everything. Dont be afraid to ask ANYTHING, but please do a search first. Pretty much EVERYTHING has been talked about around here.

2. Get to know: Quik LS (Lou) and GrayGhost1 (Ken) ASAP!! Quik is our Master Mod-Man. and Ken is the definitive word on LS upgrades and improvements. http://www.lskoncepts.com

3. Ken Motz will waste your time. His supposide "mods" are idiotic and aren't worth even speaking about. If a crap filter could be made.. it would be for him

4. Mods that ARE worth your time in researching.
Angel Eyes
SCT Flasher
AutoEnginuity Scantool - Not a mod, but a really cool scantool
Exhaust from Magnaflow - there are some website where good deals are
Back-up Sensors
Lowering Kit
LSKoncepts Cold Air Intake Kit - Excellent First Mod

5. Become a member of your area's Local Chapter (link on lvc homepage)

So hope you have a great New Year's, Welcome to LvC and have fun.

Thanks for the responce and infor from all of you.

Kellyo,
The 67 ia trail only has to be trailered everywere. I mainly built it for Rocks but i do put it in the mud every now and then. As for trails, Most guys in this area go to BEASLEY KNOB or Rich Mountain in the BLAIRSVILLE, GA, Telico in Murphy, NC, There is a couple places over off 65 south of Nashville,TN area. I have heard there is a new park down in the Fayette County area
