Hi all, I recently aquired this one owner car from a family members estate, It is the V6. I have never owned a Lincoln or Cadillac. It is a very nice car. It had been sitting undriven in the garage for almost two years. I put a new battery in and the car started immediately and runs terrific. My question is that it seems to "hunt" for gears to shift into before settling in. It has right at 100K miles on the odometer. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on my situation. Thanks, Tim

Welcome Tim...

A transmission shop could diagnose it for you for a nominal fee...it's certainly worth $50 or so for them to give it a good goin' thru before a larger issue surfaces.

I did take it to Aamco and they wanted to remove transmission and make diagnosis

They said it would be 2100$ plus any parts it would need. I can't afford that much money so I am planning to take it to The Lincoln Mercury store in Tulsa to see what they discover. Thanks, Tim
