new dash

hey guys i dont post much but i must admit this site is visited daily by me. its very helpful and very fun to read everyones opinions. so the past couple days i redid my dash on my 2001 ls. lots of fiberglass work. so any opinions would be nice

my dash used to be that black plastic.and had the alpine 6 disc in it this is the new cleaner look. notice no ashtray

Not a fan in its current state. Since you did now you have to paint all the wood grain in the car to tie it all in. Dont forget the steering wheel wood grain as well.

That Is The Plan Al The Wood Grain Is Currently Off The Car Being Prepped. The Climate Controls Are Behind That Door. By Simply Pushing In On The Bottom Of The Door It Will Pop Up And Reveal The Climate Controls. The Bottom Illuminates At Night With The Alpine Logo.didnt Shom Up In Daytime Pics. Also It Will Be Getting My Company Logo Below The Deck. Thanks For The Input Even If It Is Negbative. At Least Its Not Childish:d Any More Opinions Are Welcome

I love my wood grain. It fits the car well, adds class and the look of luxury. Gay is a bit of a harsh word. Sounds as if you are attempting to state more of a fact than your opinion.

Anyway, I agree with most on this project. It does seem how ever that you have had good intentions and some creativity in mind so I would make attempts to further the project and I myself would ditch the head unit and get something a bit more fuller faced with a better fit for the look you are trying to achieve.

did you relocate the cigarette outlet? One of my major pet peeves with this car is the lack of power outlets, so i hope you kept the cigarette outlet!

And fake carbon fiber is better? I guess regardless of quality it fits a luxury vehicle better as well? Looks real enough to me.
The LS has class, just not as much as a Bently. Enough for me.
