My new brakes started squeaking as I'm driving yesterday. I know they will do it as I stop for a bit but now they do it as I drive.

What should I look for that could be causing this?

Did you use a decent amount of grease on the backs of the shims? I didn't, and had to redo it.

I had problems and had to take them in but the guys that did them used everything they should have. Its actually pretty obvious cause the stuffs everywhere.

Mine have yet to stop and I am nearing 1k miles. I am considering tossing these and just using oem components. I may take my car to my mechanic and have them check everything out.

I have the CRC red stuff on everything that isn't touching the rotor. I have nu judder or vibration and do not suspect the rotor no falling within the runout specs but I wouldnt rule it out yet.

Well with further inspection it seems the people I left the rest of the task up to wiped the CRC stuff clear off on one side of the rear and I guess when they started over they didnt put anything back on it.

I wanna kick the sh*t out of these guys, first they charge me 70$ in labor just for me to have to do it over again my self and now this one?

Is it too much to ask for the job to be done right. This is why I haven't pulled the trigger on taking my car in to the mechanic. Heck I have already proved that I can do the job poorly for free :)

Mine squeaked with proper grease. Turned out to be the pads. I replaced with NAPA Ceramix--no squeak now or...ever again.
