So I just installed a brand new and complete AC system on a 2000 LS. Unfortunately when it is running I get a strong mix of heat and ice cold air coming out of vents.

I just had a new DCCV installed a few months ago, so this is likely NOT the issue. So far in my research I have found the following possible causes:

1. Aux Cooling Pump below the DCCV
2. Climate control Module
3. Evap sensor
4. AC control module (no idea where this even is)

Where to start? My exact symptoms are:

* Cold and Hot air mixed in each vent (not specific to any vent)
* The issue gets worse at speed, better at idle but heat always present
* Turning recirculate on or off does not change anything
* If I turn the AC to defrost and/or floor, its much colder

Thoughts or Feedback is appreciated.

Are you sure you have an LS? It really can't put out hot and cold air on the same side at the same time. It can mix hot and cold and put out warm.
Do you mean that it is hot one instant and cold the next?

1. Aux pump is not your problem, unless you are trying to get heat and can't get heat at idle.
3. This could be the problem if you are getting non cooled (but not heated) air when you want cooled air.
4. This is the DATC or climate control module from item 2.

When you say "brand new and complete AC system", which parts exactly do you mean? (Please list them.)
