I noticed before I put the car up for hibernation that neon wasn't working. It didn't say any thing about it in the information center about it being out. What are some common things to look for?
Common issues for the neon to not work usually tends to be a problem with the ballast/inverter that is powering the neon beam. Reasons for the ballast to stop working can range from moisture in the housing that could short out the ballast to something as simple as time & wear. Sometimes the female/male connectors on the harness can go bad and need a simple retinning.
You can check here for further detail on the frequently asked questions concerning the neon.
Best bet would be to get another inverter to power the beam once again. You can buy one online, get a Glitch ballast or a DC45 inverter for only $40 and you'll have your light back on in no time.
