Neon Brake Light

How would i test my neon brake light on my gen 2. What fuses does this have.. sometimes it works and lights up sometimes it doesnt.. were is it grounded? were does it splice into? any way to test, and is their any common reasons for this to not work.. I dont think its burnt out cuz it lights up occassionally

when i turn light switch on and off it works 2 any ideas?

Mine did the same thing. I had to just get a new one, which works fine.

Pull the liner off the trunk lid and check the ground. If that's not the problem - get a new inverter from glitch, much cheaper than buying the whole lamp.
