Alright guys... I have been here a while but I have been in love with the Mark for YEARS! I am currently slotted to rotate back to the states very soon (2-3 months) and I have decided that I am going to buy a Gen II Mark...

I have a few questions while I collect parts (pretty much all I do over here in germany cause I can't work on anything!!!)

I want to get a rotating assembly from a 03-04 Terminator Cobra to stuff in the Teksid block... will it work?

I want to supercharge it at first... I noticed alot of people have been gravitating toward a roots, or a centrifugal. The centi have been all vortechs I guess...

I have the opportunity at a few different 96-98 cobra kits and I was wondering which one I should be looking for? Vortech V2-sq?, Procharger P1?

Hmmm... thats pretty much it actually! LOL!

:ON EDIT: Do you need to swap to the Cobra intake for the Gen II's? Is there any benefit? :/ END EDIT:

Anywho... help me out guys!

Yes.

I'm a roots guy, myself. Nothing beats full boost @ 2,000 rpm. Especially in a heavy automatic.

Procharger for power- but be prepared to shell-out a few extra bones.

I would. Adds a few extra ponies...

Thanks!!!

I figured I knew the answer on a few of those.... I just wanted to make sure!

Full boost at 2000 is attractive, but the heat they generate is not....

So I guess I gotta keep my eyes open for a Procharger then! LOL! I still need a direction on what trim... 600B, P1, P2?

I guess I need to do some comparison shopping on airflow and power potentials

And you gotta love the way it looks! That sexy ass snake on it!

Thanks! You rock

With Terminator bottom end, you should be able to handle 10-12 psi of boost safely with the P2. IIRC, the static compression of the 03 Cobra pistons is 8.5:1. You should have no problems with that combo.

The P1, IIRC, is the "quiet" version like the Vortech SQ1. I think they only go 6-9 psi, but I can't remember. Either way, it should make for some full-throttle fun...:gr_devil:

I would pick up some 03/04 heads if you could to, then go with a Marauder, Mach 1 or Cobra intake. Just the 03/04 heads alone will help out a lot! They breathe a lot better, especially on the exhaust side.

WOO HOO!!!

Yeah I know I will be fine on boost with the cobra internals... thats why I picked em up!

I will look for the Termi heads then...

If I switch to the C heads then what headers would I have to get???

Kooks custom.

DAMN!...

Ok... Well I will keep collecting parts and keeping my options open!

A stock terminator short block will handle 18 lbs of boost along with a 100 shot of nitrous once in awhile for a year at least, out of a twinscrew.. which is REAL boost. So I'd say 15 lbs and no juice is not a problem. The one I'm talking about might be a freak tho.

"Kooks custom." Yes, or just stock Cobra, Mach manifolds since they will hold up to 600H just fine, at which point they become restrictive compared to true headers. Being that 600 is the true physical limit, I would not push them with more than 500 HP.
