need some info

i put a 96 mark motor and trans in a ffr coupe and i can not get it to shift in to 4th. ??? i have not calbrated the speedo yet. will that have an affect on the shift points. all new mercon v and filter

do you have a switch on the shifter for turning 4th (od0 on and off like it would be in a mark,and do you have o/d light to confirm the switch action?

maybe someone else can with more knowledge on this can chime in here,but do you have it running off a 96 computer or what is controlling it electronically?(the engine and the trans i mean)

my thought would be if you have the proper electronics controlling it you would not need a switch to turn "on" 4th gear only to turn it off.but i dont know for sure.
