As you can tell I'm new here and already posted in "Welcome Wagon Forum"

I tend to type a lot, sorry about that. I will bold my questions when asked for the issue lol

I have some issues with my 2003 Lincoln LS V8 Sport (I know nothing about the Gens LOL)

Before I get started... Thanks Joegr for confirming some advice in a previous post http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?p=854016#post854016

I have searched for the last couple days on this site for answers before asking for help just in case it's already been answered.

1. On my passenger front seat, when using the heated seat feature it comes on for a little bit and shortly turns off. When trying to turn it back on it lights up then turns off. Any idea what could be causing this issue? The cold feature works great.

2. I keep getting the "Service Park Break" message and my park break stays lite. When using my parking break it works fine from what I can tell. What could be causing this? It might not be a big issue since I'm guessing it still works but it's just annoying as hell having the warning sound go off every time I'm driving (Warning sounds couple times while driving).

3. Misfiring - Coils - Fixed before finding this site. Thanks for the tips in other threads on how to do it quicker.

4. Pillars Leaking - Found fix for, just waiting to fix. Thanks to all that posted info on this in other threads address this issue.

5. A/C blowing hot/cool (cool driver side, hot passenger side) - Found good tips on this but have yet to fix the problem. Not sure it this is related to issue #1.

6. Window falls when closing - Regulator - Will be fixing very soon. Thanks for the tips.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

OH! And a big THANK YOU for the tip on the auto windows (holding key in door and holding open button on fob) I have had this car for two years and was thrilled when I found that out. That's what made me join this site.

Is there any other cool tips and tricks I should know? Lol.

#1. The seat module is overheating or the ducts to the seat back are disconnected. There is a TSB about the ducts in the seat cushion being crushed too. If the seat will work with no one in it, but won't work when someone is in it, then this probably is your problem. If it doesn't matter if anyone is in the seat, then check the ducts to the seat back. Also, there is an air filter under each front seat. Check those to make sure they aren't too dirty. If the passenger one is clogged, that would also cause the shutdowns.

#2 and #5. Believe it or not, these may very well be related. If your DCCV is shorted on the passenger side it can cause electrical noise that will cause an error with the electric parking brake. A weak car battery can also cause problems with the parking brake.

#5. Most likely, your DCCV is failing.

Thanks again Joegr. I will be checking this out later today.

OH! And a big THANK YOU for the tip on the auto windows (holding key in door and holding open button on fob).

What? Can someone explain these steps further and what gets fixed by these steps?

Thanks,

Thought that was done by just putting the key in the door and turning it and leaving it turned (causing windows and sunroof to open), or holding open button on fob.

Thought maybe there was something else about putting in the key "and" holding down the fob at the same time... I just mis-read the OP.
