I have a 1995 Lincoln mark viii and have some questions

1) the interior is rough due to the previous owner of the car the door panels especially. Is it possible to use 1997 or 1998 door panels?

2) what is a good way to lower the coil conversion kit from strutmasters, i have cut coils on previous vehicles and they have worked very well. im just not sure about struts, i was told to heat them and compress them but im open to suggestions

3) slrmotorsports.com performance chips are they any good?

4) looking at some 95 cobra wheels on craigslist or something that looks like that i know i have to do a hub swap all the way around and change rotors, calipers and brakes. Which mustang hubs do i need exactly?

Thanks for the answers

You could use T-bird struts with these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0511985420&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT but you still need spring perches for the rear springs but you can find how to make them on here or pay to have someone make them for you. I have a coil conversion on mine and was looking at these springs to lower it more. The coils on the front of mine had been heated to lower and then broke.

ok thanks I was thinking of cutting the coils, i know thats not to good but i have done it on past vehicles and it worked fine. I also didn't notice a ride difference when i cut them. I just wasn't sure on how to lower struts.

thanks alot my air ride seems to be completely shot now hopefully its just because its below 0 here its gotta make it to the weekend so i can order the conversion kit

I cut 1 full ring off of each coil & then fine tune from there. You'll have to put them on the car to see if you're level. It's also a good idea to unbolt your rear sway bar on each side while doing this, it makes it easier.

I have a set of perfect 95 door panels off of a 49000 mile car. They are light gray. PM me if interested.
