I have searched but couldn't find a true answer to the question. Can the tail light assemblies be baked like the headlights in order to seperate the red piece from the black piece in the back? Has anybody done this with success, looking for a temp and time.

There's a thread somewhere around here about pulling them apart. I do believe they can be baked like the headlights but I'm not 100% positive. I do know they have been opened before though.

you'll have to dig through it to find out where they actually removed the tail light lens, but they tell how they did it.
