So I was hoping to get my plugs and coils this weekend, but couldn't find the time.

Anyhow, I am having a local mechanic do it for me on Thursday. My question is, what is the best spark plug to use?

the spark plugs for the LS are special and far superior to most (if not all) other spark plugs...I'm suprised how great most OEM stuff is on the LS...only if the reliability was as good :/

+1 on OEM. From my dealer they were like 9.40 a piece

OEM, the spark plug the Lincoln LS is designed and tune for.

Thanks for the help! I will buy some stealership plugs......does anyone on this site sell them? I hate supporting my local dealerships they are the WORST.

I tried looking on LSkoncepts.com and could not find any :(

pm mrzeee or click on the five star ford banner on the right. Ask for max. Max has been hooking LVCers up with price and help for ever. Hell, I called him about a waranty on a part I bought from the local dealership and he still put everything aside to help me!!!!!!!!! give him a call.

Thanks Sully! I will call Max on my lunch break

oh and just a FYI on spark plugs. Different kinds of plugs have different burn styles. They arent a what is the best kind of thing. I run copper plugs because of my nitrous set up. They burn better for MY set application. Lots of the Turbo/SC guys like the iridium plugs. Looking at your mod list in your sig, just go with the stockers

What a great deal! Max @ 5 Star Ford set me up with the plugs for $5 per. Not too bad, I just wish there was a nice trust worthy dealership like that in MN/WI.

Thank you all for the kind words and the business. Eric your plugs have already been pick up by fed ex!! Ill pm th tracking if you like.

Max

Man I just bought these last week yeah 82.45 w/tax. I guess next time I need parts I'll be calling you Max.

Well what about the E3 plugs. Anybody try these spark plugs?
I installed these,E3, on my car about 3 weeks ago. I got 28.2 miles per gallon on a 250 mile road trip last week. I drove 70 to 80 miles per hour and used my cruise. I really think it seems to run better with these plugs. I also have a kick ass tune from ILLS. I say thumbs up so far to the E3.
