if anyone had the the part numbers or how to get them for doing the secondary vct and the rest of the parts even the tool to hold the cam in place thanks

I used Christopher's Foreign Car Parts on ebay. Quick shipping, OK deal.

+1 on Cristopher's!

It's about a twoish hour job if you've been into your heads before. Plan for sixish if you haven't.

Make sure you have all of the parts:

Then take out the intake, engine cover, evap, and air box:

Then on to 7mm deep and short sockets for the COP cover as well as COPs:

Next is 10 deep and short as well as clever use of U's and extensions for the head covers:

The passenger side is the easy one:

Then grab the universal key to open the factory chain:

Then loosen the exhaust cam bolts from front to rear (slowly!):

And set the cam some place soft and clean:

Remove the old tensioner and install the new one with the new bolts. BE CAREFUL OF THE JESUS PART OF THE MASTER LINK!! There was a spare one in my oil pan after the next oil change because it sprang off. :( Ace had a Hillman aisle with another link. :)

The driver's side is a bit tougher and you'll want to open the fuel line to remove the cover.

And you'll see right away where the problem is:

I'm no expert on right, but this ain't right:

The timing of the intake cam should not change. You have two hexes to the cams and make sure that they line back up with a straight edge when you tighten them:

I used an angle gauge and matched the angle of the flat spot on the intake cam to the angle of the flat spot on the exhaust cam.
