Is there anyone close enough to Topeka ks that would be willing to physically help me with doing an upper chain tensioner? I'm not feeling very comfortable doing it. Mine is not bad yet but i don't want to let it get that far either.Let me know thanks.Id be willing to compensate for the time.

I've never attempted before but would be willing to come out a give a hand.. would def like to see this process before i tackle it myself....

PM sent....shortly

i'm in the same boat, I want to replace the secondary tensioners...I have to order the parts soon, & get it done on a weekend

I just had my drivers side tensioner go. when I pulled the vc off and looked at it I had noticed that the chain was about to break. I ended up getting the secondary chain from christophersforeigncarparts.com, They come with a master link on the chain. Made the job so much easier. The biggest pita is removing the drivers Valve cover. other thatn that should take you 2-3 hours. gonna do the pass side chain and tensioner this spring.

Ill post pics later but wanted to let everyone know I took this job on and won! Grell thanks for the willingness to help. My baby is back!
