I personally selected 4.30 gears with a regular tlock, not carbon clutched. In the future if I rebuild it I will do the carbon clutches though...

Is your trans not working?

If it is still good i would do a jmod to it and call it good for now.

no my trans is working my car only has 70,000 miles

what should i order from max 4.10's or 4.30's and what else i have no idea what is needed,

and how much of a difference is there between the two?

So here is a run down of how I am going about things....

First step is doing a complete tune up including a new fuel pump, this may be a little overkill to some but I want to absolutely make sure the car 100% before I mod anything.

I did a once over of my car and made this list of things to replace/Do:

Spark Plugs
COP Boots and Ropes
Seafoam
PCV Valve
O2 Sensors
Engine oil and filter
Power Steering Flush
Trans Fluid and Filter, Mercron V
Coolant Flush and Thermostat
Brake Fluid Flush
Serpentine Belt
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump
Fuel Injector Cleaning

These are all the things that my car needs to be 100% and ready to mod.

The I made a list of the mods that will be the most effective:

Tune
Gears
Stall

I bought an Xcal2 to get a tune put on my car, and plan on getting the pro racer software to make the needed changes as I continue to mod my car.

For Gears I went with 4.30 because my car is an LSC with 3.27's currently and to see the same affect that a base car gets going from 3.08 to 4.10's I needed 4.30's.... I also am not afraid of the RPM's it will see on the freeway, but that is a matter of personal taste.

I haven't decided what RPM stall to get at this point...
