I Was hoping that everyone that knows way more than me on this website could help me with my mark or let me know what you have done to yours and how much things will cost.

I have bought the mass air kit, the cat back exaust system with the two x pipes, the mufflers and the chip all from lincolnmotorsport but have instaled only the mass air kit for the simple fact that i am waiting to get headers to put the rest of the exaust on and i am waiting until i am satisfied and done to program the chip.

I would just like more horse power. i will probally have around 3000-3500 to spend on my mark and would like to get as much horsepower as i can with that amount of money so please shoot me ideas and prices that you would suggest Thank You.

Headers eeeh, according to most here the gain isnt worth the hassle.
you are on the right track with the LMS stuff.
Next up should be gearing, track lock, and a stall if you are looking for the WOW factor. If you are a fabricator you can do the blower from a Cobra or a centrifugal charger.

where would i get that stuff for the cheapest and i heard if i didnt install the headers my exaust wouldnt do anything much except be loud because the stock manifolds suck

I did a lot of looking around, headers are more of a placebo effect. Ya, they help with the exhaust note and have some gains, but the same gains can be had by putting on 03/04 Cobra manifolds. They flow better and are designed for larger exhaust ports. They bolt right on. You will have to mod the steering shaft a little (under $150 for flaming river steering parts).

The exhaust will be NEEDED if you go with the bigger MAF. These care breathe fine, its the output thats restrictive. So go move on getting both, those alone will get you a boost.

If you really feel up to it, you could do an intake swap to a Cobra intake or Gen 1 intake. I hear that this is better or that is, either way it will be an improvement. The Cobra swap will be the path of less work.

The chip, while great, will ever beat a dyno-tune. Both can be had for almost the same price depending on the place. I would rather have spent another $100 to go dyno than chip.

Otherwise as mentioned above, gears, etc. If you feel like dropping the trans, go for a high stall TC.

Ah, and lets not forget to do the JMod!

The stock manifolds aren't great but they flow well enough that most people say it's not worth it unless your going FI. The money could be better spent elsewhere. Your on the right track though. Gears and a trac lok are the next best thing. You might be ok without a new drive shaft with 3.73s but with 4.10s one is a must. Either find a 93 Mark drive shaft or get a new one. Also a 96-98 cobra intake is worth about 20hp over the stock Gen2 intake. Do a search to find out what is involved with the swap.

BAH! I was on the right path, hahaha I guess I should stick to suspensions.

Here is the order I would mod in....

1. Tune up including a new fuel pump that can keep up, most people like the walboro 255...

2. A computer tune

3. Gears

4. Converter

does anybody have any websites that i could get all this stuff high quality but cheap as possible?

You now own a Mark VIII, welcome to the world of semi scarce parts and this is not like modding a honda Civic.

Max has a badass deal on gears and trac-lok. Carquest O'reallys, Napi autoparts, Vatozone, they can all get you a SVT focus pump fairly cheap.

where could i find the cobra intake?

supercoupeperformance.com has a 3.5" and a 4" aluminum driveshaft. would it make much of a differance for my applications?

does supercoupeperformance have good quality stuff?
They have a 255 lph hiflow fuel pump for 2nd generation marks for 135.99 is that a good price?

I found This 4.6 DOHC "C" HEAD INTAKE MANIFOLD CUSTOM AVIATOR COBRA on ebay could you guys check it out and let me know if it would work and if it is a good deal

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-6-...727|39:1|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

you guys are helping me tremendiously thank you.

That eBay link is for an Aviator intake. Either way, you have B heads and that intake would not work without swapping heads.

This is what you want. Not a bad price for a new one, but I would say go used and save a couple hundred. But this is the ONLY style Cobra intake that will work:

The fuel pump you can get cheaper from Summit Racing. About $100 is what you should spent on a Walbro 255.

got my cobra intake (both halves) throttle body, EGR, and a couple of other sensors for $375. but I had to use a cobra air intake tube ($100) to make it fit. also i did the exhaust, x-pipe third cat removed, flowmasters, trans go shift improver kit, trans cooler, and Summit racing under drive pully kit, and the Lincoln Motor Sports big mass air flow kit. damn it takes off like a bat out of hell :D

I have the 4" dynotech driveshaft from supercoupe. No complaints. Somoen bought the 255lph pump and IIRC said it needed some mods to work which Bill does say on the suppersoupe sight.

Good point about the fuel pump.

If your not doing it all at once do the tune last as the gears and converter will affect the shirt oints of the tune.

To optimize the mods doing everything I listed all at once is best... or do the tune and then get it tweaked after the gears and torque converter....

You really can't do gears or a torque converter and expect any good results without a tune!

well i know someone at a ford dealership. he said he can get me the ring and pinion for 4.10's the differential the track lok and an instalation kit for about 500$

is that a good deal or no?

Look at the very top of the page in the stick thread, Max at 5 Star Ford has a really good sale going on right now for gears and tlock with the full installation kit. I doubt you will find it any cheaper...

But the sale is ending soon!

well i found this trans... what do u think? and you were saying in that fourm that you got 4.30 and somthing about carbon clutches? help me out with this what all should i get?
