Well I just finished the wiring at lunch today and took some pics with my cell phone. I love it. The pictures don't do it justice, IMHO. What do you think?

Awesome work! What did it set you back? Oh, and nice pioneer double din! I'm assuming you did that install yourself too?

Thanks. The clock was an outragous $70 from the dealer. I checked around, I wouldn't be able to get it any cheaper from anybody. It's the clock out of a 08 Navi. Yeah I did the Pioneer also. It's a D2 (older model now) that thing has been in three cars now. I'm surprised it's still working like new.
 
Nice work. I actually prefer the look of the D2. I have a Kenwood Excelon DDX7015... also an older model.

Ha! I'm light years behind most people on this site :). But I guess thats what happens around tax refund time. Why pay down bills when you can play with your car :shifty:?
Actually all I've done is:
clear headlights/painted bezel, 06 LSE grill, 30% tint, AVIC D2, custom clock, and soon, shiney new wheels (thanks to camthman)

But thanks for the positive feedback from everyone.
 
I wanted those wheels! Thanks for buying them though... forces me to get 18's :D
 
Looks very, very nice man. Everytime I sat in a Aviator or a Navigator I would think about that clock. Good job on the install.
 
now what we need is an install guide for the rest of us, lol!!

As far as a write up goes, I didn't do one because it was all just custom cutting up the ashtray and everything inside. So how you want to do it is up to you. But I can get some pics of the wiring and how i mounted it in there if people actually want to do this too. Let me know what you think. It's pretty flattering I think. I just did it for fun. I think its awesome that people like it that much.
 
where did u get the kit for the double din mine looks like crap i bought a single din kit and cut around the edges and it looks choppy
