There seems to be alot of hype on this latley so...Im getting one!

I wanna know something as well that is not covered 20 times .:cough cough:. :D ;)

Well actually one thing in mind right now, how easy is it to run other monitores off of the unit like headrest, and visor screens.

most of the NAV units have video outputs so its just a matter of running wiring to the head rests. You can just put splitters on the video output and run almost as many monitors as you would like.

Awsome, we take the kid on long trips to her Grandmothers house and all she wants to do is watch the Simpsons, not that I see a problem with that at all but shes not even a year old. Man she comes runnin when that funny intro song starts.

The Avic D3 a RCA video output on it's wiring harness. I have two headrest monitors in my LS. Before the Avic, I had a Blau DVD player in the trunk. The Blau didn't have a video signal strong enough to provide distortion free pics on both monitors, so I had to get an Alpine 12V powered signal splitter. that boosted the signal enough to overcome the distortion issues.

I am using the same alpine splitter now, but didn't test the headrests without it. It's possible that the Pioneer is sending out a strong enough signal to not have to use the booster.

I tested it for a hour ride last night, and the signal is fine. And the sound quality of the concert it was playing, was exceptional.

And wiring the headrest monitors up is fairly simple. The seatbacks come off fairly easily, giving you access to everything. From there, it's a simple as lifting up the center console, and running your wires up to the dash.
