Nav. climate control different than the base cd player?

Like the title says my climate control on my ls is crazy and acts up so my dealer request i just get a new one because its faulty. Even with my employee discount just the unit is $314.00...They go on ebay for like 60 bucks so thats going to be my route. But my question is if my nav. setup with the climate control is different than just the regular cd player that comes in the ls.

I'm not sure what specific part you are referring to, but I'll assume you're talking about the panel of buttons that controls the climate control. Yes, I believe those are the same, regardless of whether you have the navigation setup or not. My 03 LS did not have navigation, and it had the same control panel that my 06 LS has (with navigation).

There will be a difference, however, if you have climate controlled seats or not. Remember, some 03+ LSes have climate controlled seats and some do not, so there are two different climate control panels. If you have climate controlled seats, make sure you get a panel that can work that feature.

yea ToddG is right its the same regardless if you have the NAV or not, i just took mines apart yesterday fixing a problem with my new amp, just make sure that you get the right one (heated and cooled seats, ),
