Mysterious engine stall

I've been seeing something very strange on my LS. Every once in a while, the engine will die. It happens very quickly, with out warning and there are no trouble codes. One time I glanced down to see the battery light flash, but that was it. The engine will immediately start back up again. I'm a little worried about this because electrical gremlins can hard to track down and in this case, it can be dangerous.

Your PCV (I think that's how it's called) valve is probably dirty, clean it or change it.

what kind of car do you have?

It's an 04 V8. I was under the impression that the V8 didn't have a PVC valve. I get the feeling that it is electrical, but since it's not giving any trouble code, I'm not sure.
