Ok guys, so as yous all know I was all PUMPED for the E-town meet....get all the way up there to the diner where we're meeting at and when its time to leave...it won't start...ok, now whats the problem?? It cranks but its not getting fuel. Now I put a brand new fuel pump and fuel filter in 2 weeks ago.......so i whacked the tank 80 million times, my dad whacked it and few of the other guys even whacked it, no pump turning on. I change a relay or two around, nothing....checked all fuses, nothing..I let the car sit, nothing.....I moved the car to different ground, nothing.....i'm not getting the fuel pump to turn on...think I just got a bad new pump or is something else worng???? Anyone have this problem before??? And yes the car has about a half tank of gas in it

As I posted in the E-town thread did you try the Crank Trigger? When mine went I was going nuts cause I though my fuel pump gave up the ghost but when I pulled a plug wire to see if it had a spark it didn't. So first thing I tried was pulling the sensor and then plugged it back in. Bingo it fired right up.

but he said he wasnt getting fuel in his post.

It was so long ago I don't remember my fuel pump coming on when I had that problem. Thats why I thought it was the pump to but a mechanic that I know was pushing me to give it them cause he could fix it in no time kinda deal. Made me think it had to be something stupid simple and it way

Have you even checked if you have spark....or check to see what pressure you have at the rail?

Maybe two weeks ago the pump wasent your problem.

PROBLEM SOLVED: Wiring harness to the fuel pump, the ground wire was completely cut apart???? WTF???? anyways dropped the exhaust (again) and the tank and fixed it all up....now we're good to go!!!

dont feel bad, me and my friend made it to the track and his car(95 gt) broke before it even got in the gate. i spent the better part of the day running for parts.
