Well i scrapped the last trunk security idea i had. Which was a metal bracket that was inserted between the metal pin that is used to turn the lock manually..It just jammed it so no matter what you couldnt open it using the trunk lock. I didnt like the idea of the auto popper possibly breaking thus having to cut a hole in the trunk to fix it..
So i took one of those interiour plastic push pin things and painted it body color and inserted it in/over the trunk lock'
Its 15 degrees out here..I tried cleaning it once it was installed but it froze quicky thus the dull finish.Most noticably on the bottom right corner..But before i did that it was a perfect color match. And will look great once it gets over 30 again
p.s. Thats the reflection of snow on the bumper
