Hi Guys got a question, my IMRC seems to be smoking right by the firewall and it smells like something electric but the smoke seems to be coming from the throttle body.

I searched and found articles on how to change it and that it is hard to find one.

I just got this 96 LSC and 1st thing that went was the air. Got a conversion kit and she's up again, but now this! lol from what I have read, I should expect something always! lol

any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!

No you should not expect something always. You really need to look more at the problem to find out whats smoking. IMRC's are still vacuum with elc sensor so don't think those would smoke.

Well its coming from the back of the engine and my imrc is stuck open

The one thing you have to worry about is if your IMRC pot it messed up those are rare as hens teeth. There are many things at back of engine. How are the IMRC's going to smoke?
