htrd where can i get the gears from and whick ones would be good?Im a doit yourself person ive done the 1-2 and have put a rear end axles and all on a crown vic.I would like to order some and install them myself.How long do the gears take?

Any big name gear company should be good. when you have it a part rebuild the posi unit and seals to the half shafts. If your cars a dd it might be worth the extra $ to buy a used center and install the gears so when you take apart the rear suspension you bolt it right back up. If you go that way get a with a posi already. I;m running 3.73's not a whole lot gained there. 4.10's would be better.

I'd go to Max and get all OEM stuff... that is the way I went, and I have a carrier ready to go in for about $600 ready to go.

I got everything for my gear swap from Max.
