I just started my project of fitting a set of Mustang Cobra wheels on my 00 LSV8. They should be on by next month. Hate having to spend the cash on new tires when I just put new 16" tires on last fall. If any one has any info they would like to serve up please feel free to do so.

Why not blackls06?

If done right, they might look good, maybe some replica 18's chrome or silver

I hope he realizes that he could get wayy better wheels for half of the price.. And if he re-drills, there are MANY options then..

Yeah, not for the 4x4 look, but since he said project of fitting mustang wheels on, I'm guessing he's actually going to make the fit properly so they'll look good

Yes I read the post with the guy with the spacers, and yes i know that i spelled wheels wrong. yes i am redrilling the wheels the difference is that these are off a 1998 cobra svt. they where made for only one year and have a different offset.

Keyword is if.

I just hate the 4x4 look.

yeah i'm hoping he doesn't use spacers like the guy i linked. there are other ways to do it, i just don't know how financially worthwhile it is.

These them?

That is them, I already drilled one out and test fitted with rim, checked all measurements, wanted to make sure that the wheel and hub where centered. also tried with tires mounted to see how far out of the wheel well they stick out. I tried 2255017 on the rim and they looked like a go.

FASTLLS hows the pic look. I will have better ones up i the next week or two. Gotta find the right rubber. What makes it easy is that I work for a tire place and can test different tires till i get the right look.

I am gonna keep them stock alloy for the summer and fall. I may have a friend of mine powder coat them in a black chrome over the winter.

I am also going to redo my sound system for the summer ( need to get more space in my trunk ) I have the folowing in the car.

6.5 in rear doors ( polk db's )

looking good, if only they were 18's though.

oh dammm they're 17's???!?? no wonder the rotor looked to fit perfectly with that rim

are they light weight at least?

Dude, how is the re-drill process? I wanna get me some Enkei RPF1's but as we all know out bolt pattern is pretty gay. But if its just a matter of re-drilling the holes...

Haha come on guys. Just so you know I didn't Leave those svt wheels on there.
But at least we can all laugh at my silliness. :D
