My right turn signal has been working intermittently for about a year now. I would say that 60% of the time it malfunctions and 40% of the time it works normally.
When the stalk is put in the right turn position, it either won’t signal at all, starts to signal normally and suddenly stops, or most often will start signaling normally and then go into a spasm of random, quick and slow flashes.
When I’m stopped at a light and it starts acting up, turning the steering wheel doesn’t affect it, but I can get it to work normally by putting slight pressure on the end of the stalk and manually holding it slightly past the point of normal operation so it seems to be a contact issue because All steering wheel buttons are functioning normally and have never given me any trouble so this makes me think it’s just the Multi-Function Switch that needs replaced.

Anyone else run into this issue?

Multi-function switch. The turn signal stuff does not go through the clockspring.

Cool!
Thanks Joe, that makes me feel better, I was hoping that they were seperate entities.

only the things that are on the steering wheel and need to rotate go through the clockspring.
