i've decided to keep the ls8 since i'm in college and dont need to be in debt lol. what is the most popular tire series for 7.5 inch wide tires for 20" rims with 42mm offset? i've read 245 series are meant for 8in and wider so what do i use for 7.5in, that is widely available like 245 series? also what tires are most reliable/comfortable for twenties.

anyone?
thanks in advance

i cant find them wider, unless they shrink in offset(tis rims). also i wont have any problems rubbing right? so it really does not matter to me.

I replaced my stock size with some Bridgstone Potenza A/S Pole Position tires, size is 245/45-17. Even though they are high end and pretty expensive i think the handling has diminished slightly over the stock size, especially corning ability. I dont know what others have experienced with different size tires but i will go back to the stock size after my current set is worn. There is a certain turn on the highway that i take almost everyday. Its four lanes and the inside lane is really fun to take at a decent speed, i used to be able to take it going about 70 mph and it would hug the road perfectly. With the new size tires it actually handles alittle unpredictable. I dont feel comfortable taking that turn going over the speed limit now.

P.S. - I have had three tires become defective with one literally falling apart. I questioned the tires but the size difference might be whats causing it to fail. Just a thought when your going away from stock size.

Since when dont a 245 fit?

Whats our stock size for a 7.5" wide wheel. Its like 235/55 aint it?

i have 245/35r20's in the front with intrax springs. I had 0 rubbing till my car settled another boat load over the winter. now the fenders are rolled and they fit fine!!!!

Thats a new one. There have been a few posted before but I havent seen this one yet.

i work for bridgestone and have not seen any issues thus far with the as pole position, i am running the turanza serenity and i really like the performance, the other option is the RE-11 its a sick new UHP with a huge amount of grip

I thought they were still only available in Japan?

i waited to long they "sold out" bs... does anyone know a place to get TIS(twenty inches strong) rims for a good price. i was getting mine from ebay for1200 shipped. also has anyone heard of U2 rims?

i googled(many places with tis rims). but i dont trust sites that dont use paypal. i rather trust people who know a good site.
