In the painting of the car I've found a bit of rust which has slowed the progress a bit. In the process I'm fixing the back brakes and while doing that I'm now looking at the bushings on what looks to be the back sway bar. I'm pretty sure that is what I'm looking at but let me describe it real quick. The bar goes across the back-end behind the rear axle and bends toward the front of the car (if looking at the brake assembly) in front of the rear spring. There are two bushings that connect it to what appears to be sway bar end links. These are 6 inches long and have bushings on each side. I have a lot of clunking in the back of the car and I suspect it's these bushings.
I have a lowered coil over and I seem to remember that I need to do some modifiying to the new one's. Am I correct on that?
Thanks... More progress pics will be up in a couple days. I'm spending time now preping the garage for the painting and learning how to shoot the paint gun. I have a hood and a truck bed I'm practicing on.
