It's a dangerous world.
We aren't scuffling with them, but they are reported to have fired on U.S. forces.

Obama thinks we should invade Pakistan in an effort to track Obama. The Bush administration has known better, recognizing that such an action would destabilize the country and result into that nuclear arsenal falling into the hands of Muslim fundamentalist.

Reports also say U.S. choppers have crossed the Pakistani border to deploy troops... So my question would be, why are we pushing the boundaries so hard here if Bush "knows better"?

Because he's balancing the strategic interest with the threat of destabilization.

I said this contrasting it to the criticisms and claims Obama has made saying he was going to aggressively and flagrantly send troops into the region to find Osama.

And risking yet another war?
Who's taking the bigger risk - the US by continuing to pursue bin Laden, or Pakistan for willfully sheltering him?

BS on your "another war" term. It's all the same war. Pakistan is just risking joining the losing side.

Nobody "wins", we think we come out on top but then we spend millions rebuilding other country's

You're solution please.

The region along the Afghan border is lawless. There are terrorist camps through out the area and it is from their that much of the destabilization in Afghanistan comes from. Strategic strikes are necessary.

However, we are not attacking Paki military or government forces. They are surgical strikes necessary for the security of Afghanistan and safety of our forces.

Or we can follow Obama's stated plan, which was to launch a full on invasion into those regions. Obama said, "but let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."

Even you, Joey, have expressed interested in a very aggressive military engagement within Pakistan. It's very inconsistent, hypocritical in fact, for you to now be critical of what has been going on now.
