I'm interested in upgrading the audio of my new 96 MK VIII.

My first upgrade needs to be a head unit since the stock one is failing and not so good to begin with.

This is what I have found and liked so far (Green LED to match the stock look): http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PANASONIC-DOUBLE-DIN-CAR-CD-MP3-IPOD-XM-USB-PLAYER_W0QQitemZ220444214112QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Audio_In_Dash_Receivers?hash=item33537fc360&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1234|293%3A1|294%3A50

Will a standard DD head unit drop right into the car without an adapter plate? Where can I find the harness to bypass the stock amp? Is there any MK VIII specific knowledge I should be aware of before I try and install this? I just learned of the harness issue and I'm wondering if there are any other catches I need to worry about. Thanks a lot for the help in advance, I'm new here and so far this forum has been very welcoming, it definitely helped convince me to buy the MK VIII.
