Missing bottom bumper piece?

I noticed this piece was missing a few days ago...

Is it possible that I hit something and it poped out? Or was it most likely stolen?

Looks like a clean break, that's why i was suspicious. I would have assumned this was all one piece, but i guess not.

Also, anyone know where i can buy a replacement?

Tow strap? I can't think of anything in particular that is located down there that you would need access to. But I have a Gen 2 with out that piece so maybe Gen 1's did have something there.
