How do I remove the plastic lens that covers the leds in my mirror. I tried to stick a thin flathead at the top of the clear cover and twist clockwise, nothing. I am a little skeptical to turn all the way to the right. I am afraid I will give to much force and break off any plastic clips that retain that cover into the mirror. Any advice? The cloudiness in the lens is disgusting and driving me nuts. Thanks again

There are 3 small torx(I forget, could've been phillips or hex) screw, 2 on one side and 1 on the inner bottom corner. I removed those and pryed in between the led housing and the middle plastic piece. Not sure if all 3 needed to be removed but I didn't want to risk cracking anything. I had to move it around while prying to get mine out. They can be stubburn.

Once removed you won't beable to see the inner workings of the led's unless you open the little led housing by dremel or heat. I found that out the hard way. I just cleaned the 2 connections(quick-disconnects) on the outside of it and put it back together.

Hey sbcaprice305, thanks. I just got my ride out of the paint shop, I will work on it today. Thanks

Just remember, there will be a tab above the led 3" deep in the middle that you'll have to lift (flathead) once the screws are taken out.
