Car is too special to not have a dedicated post
67k miles
I would love to figure out who put this kit together, it doesn’t seem to be documented at all on here
This car has spent its entire life in Iowa, a couple months in Minnesota, but it has been preserved
Im the 5th owner
• Classic Design Concepts (CDC) full body kit paint matched professionally(one of the rarest LS kits ever made)
• Professionally paint-matched trim and chrome delete using metallic ivory parchment metallic tricoat (not rattlecan)
• Lowered on aftermarket yellow suspension
• CDC wheels, grille, fog logs & vinyl cobra badging
• True dual exhaust with XL mufflers and polished tips
• Custom cold air intake with Edelbrock cone
• High-quality NGK iridium spark plugs + all new coil packs
These mods weren’t randomly installed — they reflect the vision of a real Lincoln LS enthusiast. The CDC kit alone is worth $1,200–$2,000 and was installed with matching paintwork, indicating pride and care in the build.
Body & Paint: The ivory parchment tricoat metallic paint looks super fresh for a 2001. No visible fading or oxidation
• Wheels: CDC brushed aluminum wheels pop nicely. With Rare LSE hubcaps, No obvious pitting or curb rash = another sign it hasn’t seen much harsh use or winter driving.
• Stance: Sits level, looks well cared-for — suspension doesn’t sag, which is rare for these, stiff and sporty.
• Front bumper & lights: Clear headlights, tight body gaps, and no peeling clear coat — that’s rare for an LS this old.
• Has LSE floormats (probably custom, never seen elsewhere, same with hubcaps)
Blue fog lights
It’s basically impossible to find another LS like this nowadays
Step inside and you’ll instantly notice how clean and well-preserved the interior is. The leather seats are in excellent shape — no rips, and only minor stretch marks on the driver seat, which are barely noticeable. The rest of the leather looks like new. All interior surfaces are crack-free, and the cabin still smells like a new car, which is rare for something this age.
A custom Sony AVH touchscreen head unit ($250 upgrade) adds modern functionality like Bluetooth and USB while blending in tastefully with the factory interior. This LS also features SelectShift, allowing manual control of the transmission through the console shifter.
On the road, the car is incredibly smooth yet tight, with sporty, stiff suspension that gives it confident handling. It’s a luxury sedan that drives like a proper rear-wheel-drive sport machine — sharp, composed, and built for the curves.
Beyond the interior, the car has had extensive attention to detail and preservation work. Much of the car — including the trunk area — has been paint-matched to the factory exterior color, giving it a cohesive, finished look. The trunk is also spray foam sealed to reduce road noise and improve insulation. Even the undercarriage has been partially paint-matched and cleaned, showing pride of ownership underneath the car as well. A large portion of the underbody has been protected over the years by a plastic skid plate/shield, helping preserve the condition of key components from rust, salt, and debris.
Mechanical Work & Timeline:
•documented mileage-24,000 in 06
Sold again in 09 with 24,000
Aug 2022: Prior owner on marketplace claimed the car had ~70,000 miles. It had been sitting in a garage for 4–5 years, covered in dust, awaiting a new fuel pump.
• Jan 9, 2023: Purchased by an older mechanic who had both fuel pumps, ABS module and master cylinder replaced at the Harrison ford dealership, and performed key maintenance, coolant is clean and break fluid is fresh
• July 13th 2023 I purchased at 64500 miles
• At 64,500 miles:
• Front brake rotors and pads replaced
• Edelbrock cold air intake exchanged from a beat up k&n filter
• • At ~67,000 miles:
• Custom cold air intake piping installed
• • NGK Iridium spark plugs installed
• All new coil packs
• Polished hubcaps
• Storage & Use Since 2023:
• the car has mostly sat — occasionally started and moved but not driven much.
• It remains in clean, rust-minimal condition with no known fluid leaks.
• Is washed daily when driven including undercarriage/wheels
Yes I have plans for it
