It is sitting at my local auto auction. I can already tell it is a turd, but is it a cheap turd? I think it would make a good parts car. It will be rolling through the next auction March 20th.

Most of the Mark VIIIs I've seen go through the local police auctions go for more than they should IMO. Still worth a look.

no you cant. its not like an old style top, when they put them on the usually mess up the roof with glue, screws etc.

keep this in mind, some dealerships add them to cover up hail damage too.

At least my top goes down and doesnt look AS ugly for a while. lol.

I'm thinking of getting it more for parts, but if it were in somewhat decent shape putting a little elbow grease into it and flipping it. I'm going to see if the auction place is open tomorrow. If not, I will have to wait another week. The only positive thing I can say about the picture is that the car isn't slammed.
