I have an LS 06, and it has a metal strip below the front hood line, right around the air intakes at the bottom of the car. It is a single metal strip...has some oxidization on it. Anyone know of a good way to remove that oxidization? CLR?

Are you speaking of the chrome trim that surrounds the center opening of the front bumper?

I don't have one myself but if it's like anything else on the car that's chrome it's just a plastic trim piece. I'm sure someone will chime in on exactly what it's made out of and what to do. I was simply trying to clarify the part.

I've used steel wool and rubbing compound with a polishing wheel on chrome bumpers before but I don't imagine you doing something like that to something that small and made of what I predict is chrome covered plastic.
